This year marks WCEA’s 30th anniversary. How we work as editors and the tools we use have changed substantially in those 30 years, but much has stayed the same.
Not only are we celebrating our 25th anniversary this year, we’re toasting the addition of two talented individuals to our pool of editors, writers, and trainers. As of October 1, 2017, Barbara Johnston and Rowena Rae are partners with West Coast Editorial Associates.
Barb, who hails from Port Moody, is an editor and writer who has worked with educational, health-care, Indigenous, and legal organizations and publishers for over 20 years. She brings with her 13 years’ experience as an instructor in Simon Fraser University’s editing certificate program.
Rowena, based in Victoria, writes and edits material on a variety of subjects, ranging from the sciences (her academic background) to business and education to historical fiction. She does one-on-one coaching with writers and is herself an author of children’s books.
We’re delighted and honoured to have these two experienced professionals in our midst.
